The assembled collection includes, among other items: Paralympic medals (gold and bronze), commemorative medals (received by all individuals officially participating in the games), medals from various championship events; representative clothing (hoodies and skirts, men’s clothing with footwear, men’s blazers, tracksuits, sweatshirts, start and training shirts and shorts); volunteer t-shirts; sports footwear (track spikes for running); sports equipment (starting blocks – training, pole for pole vault); accreditations, archival documents (e.g., diplomas, IDs, congratulatory letters, press articles; photographs, mascots; Olympic and Paralympic memorabilia (sold to participants and fans).
So far, the Museum has honored graduates of the former Higher Pedagogical School in Szczecin and the University of Szczecin (US), as well as individuals who defended doctoral theses at US and former academic teachers of these institutions who participated in the world’s largest sports event (quadrennial) – the Olympics, Paralympics (names are presented in chronological order of participation in the games, in the case of the same year – alphabetical order applies):
